GENERAL INFORMATION

The equipment of management of the Ecotronic carburetor at failure of the probe Lambda works according to the emergency program. For the purpose of check of this function it is necessary to carry out simulation of damage of the probe Lambda. It is at the same time necessary to observe functioning of the gate of the equipment of start-up whether it functions normally.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1) warm the engine up to the temperature of 60 °C
2) remove the case of the air filter
3) remove the vacuum pipeline connecting a temperature regulator and the carburetor from the party of the carburetor; union densely to a zakuporta
4) start the engine and leave it idling
5) disunite a connecting wire of the probe Lambda, watching at the same time a start-up equipment diaphragm. The emergency program of the equipment of start-up has to cause installation of a diaphragm at an angle 60 ° – наискос. Otherwise the module of emergency control can be damaged, the wire of the probe Lambda is closed on weight or the start-up equipment diaphragm regulator is damaged
6) if the provision of a diaphragm correct, it is necessary to close approximately for 20 seconds a green wire from the bunch feeding the probe Lambda (a wire to the equipment of management) with a weight. The diaphragm has to slowly, be covered a little. Otherwise it is necessary to check whether there are no damages of connecting wires, and if necessary to replace the equipment of management
