7.1.7. Ignition distributor (4-cylinder models)

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

On a rotor there has to be R1 tag (for the cars equipped with Hall's generator).


Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1) And – at the installed engine establish a flywheel in the top dead point – the cylinder 1
2) In – at the removed engine – establish a tag on a vibroquencher (pulley) opposite to a tag on a belt cover
3) level a tag on a cam-shaft asterisk with a cover of a head of cylinders (it is specified by an arrow)
4) level a drive ledge cut with a carving opening

Prevention

The head of a tightening bolt of the distributor is closed by a seal which needs to be removed if the distributor for any reason is removed.


5) install the distributor so that the rotor was directed to a tag for the cylinder 1 on a distributor casing
6) clear a distributor cover before installation, check it regarding cracks and traces of soot as result of sparking, if necessary replace
7) adjust an ignition advancing corner
8) tighten tightening a distributor bolt (25 N. of m)
9) establish a new seal on a long bolt of the distributor

Prevention

When replacing the control unit check installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition, if necessary adjust.
