5.2.1.6. Free wheeling of a plate of the sensor of an air stream

Check

The free wheeling is observed between the operating plunger and the lever of a plate of the sensor (arrow A). The free wheeling is measured on the party of the sensor of an air stream turned to the distributor of fuel (arrow B).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1) at first make sure a starting position of a plate of a sensor correctly
contents WITH normal
2) include a starter for 10 seconds (the wire of the coil of ignition is disconnected and grounded) to put the fuel pump in action
slightly lift the sensor of an air stream, you will not feel resistance yet
minimum gap: 1.0 mm
the maximum gap (to a funnel of a tube of Venturi): 3.0 mm
3) if the gap does not correspond to the specified values, carry out adjustment of a free wheeling of a plate of the sensor by means of the lock screw of the operating plunger
4) adjustment of a free wheeling of a plate of the sensor by means of the lock screw of the operating plunger
change distance "and" ("and" = about 0.6 mm) between the lock screw and a ring ledge of a six-sided nut
5) turn the lock screw clockwise: the gap will increase
6) turn the lock screw counterclockwise: the gap will decrease
7) 1/4 turns of the lock screw lead to change of a gap approximately on 1.3 mm
8) after adjustment of a free wheeling of a plate of the sensor, check idling speed
