GENERAL INFORMATION

Wedge-shaped compressor belt of the conditioner (4-cylinder engine)

The tension of a belt is regulated by addition or removal of laying between crankshaft pulley halves (it is specified by an arrow).

The wedge-shaped belt is tense correctly if it can be delayed approximately on 5 mm.

You keep unused laying in a forward part of a pulley of the crankshaft, between a pulley and fixing bolts.


Prevention

When you regulate a belt tension, tighten crankshaft pulley bolts in turn, turning at the same time the crankshaft.


Inhaling moment: 22 N. of m.

Wedge-shaped compressor belt of the conditioner (5-cylinder engine)

The wedge-shaped belt is tense correctly if it can be delayed approximately on 5 mm.

– weaken bolts In;
– pull a belt, having twisted a bolt And;
– tighten bolts In: 22 N. of m;
– unscrew a bolt And until between it and the case of the engine the gap at least in 5 mm is not formed;
– record an adjusting bolt And in such situation by means of a lock-nut


Prevention

The bolt And is used only for adjustment. Do not leave this bolt pressed to the engine case.
